About Mirrorcee
Headcanons galore below the cut! Details subject to change, as a lot of this I just plain made up. And it's a work in progress. No seriously, this is still super disorganized.

Mirrorcee, henceforth referred to by her actual name, Arcee, is an alternate universe counterpart to the Arcee in Transformers Prime. In this Arcee's universe, the Autobots are tyrannical oppressors and the Decepticons are the honorable rebels trying to stop Optimus Prime from bending the universe to his crazed rule. Basically, Autobots = Evil and Decepticons = Good, with lots of weird little changes as a result. This alternate universe is generally referred to as either Shattered Glass, or SG for short, or as the Mirrorverse.
Arcee herself is a relatively well-known figure in her universe. She officially has- or at the point I'm taking her from, had- the rank of Colonel, and while she's not as important as Ultra Magnus, Optimus Prime, or even Ratchet, she's still considered one of the Autobots' crucial figures. She has a reputation for ruthlessness and efficiency, but also an ambitious streak that leads to instability and treacherousness. Most people know she was recruited from a prison in Kaon and that she spent a long time as a Scout before working her way up to the rank of Colonel. However, there's a lot more to Arcee than meets the eye...*
History
This Arcee was born in a rural (by Cybertronian standards, anyway) village called Mebion, where she was raised within the Guild of Domestic Workers. She was trained to be a caregiver and was regarded as too outspoken for her own good, and was not expected to ever be anyone of note. But shortly before she came of age, the archivist, Orion Pax, was made Optimus Prime and began to covertly assassinate members of the Cybertronian High Council, including a retired senator who lived in Mebion. The former senator was assassinated via a specially engineered virus called Cybonic plague, which then spread to his servants and the Guild of Domestic Workers, including Arcee.
Miraculously, Arcee managed to survive, albeit with staggering medical bills as a result. She made an honest attempt at repaying her debt, finding a job in Praxus as a caregiver, but she ended up skipping out on one too many payments and was arrested and sent to a prison in Kaon. At first she thought, or rather hoped, her Guild would bail her out, but they decided she wasn’t worth the expense.
She had resigned herself to life as a prisoner when the civil war broke out, and Optimus Prime sent a squad of Autobots to “liberate” the prisoners from Decepticon-controlled territory. Arcee was among those retrieved and subsequently recruited into the Autobots, where she received training as a soldier and scout and was partnered up with a mech called Tailgate. The two of them soon grew quite close, and outside of some distasteful duties, Arcee found satisfaction in what she assumed was helping to protect Cybertron.
Things changed when she and Tailgate were sent to destroy a clutch of insecticon pods, and her partner was killed by a Decepticon called Airachnid. Arcee was luckily rescued before Airachnid could kill her too, but the incident thoroughly shook up Arcee’s faith in herself and in her duties. It also left her more determined than ever to see the war ended and the Decepticons defeated, and she became relentless in her actions, leaving no lines uncrossed if it meant one step closer to finishing things. Unfortunately, all that happened is that Cybertron was steadily destroyed by the war.
But because of her increasing skills and ruthlessness, Arcee eventually caught the attention of Optimus Prime himself. She went from being a simple scout and spy to being a commanding officer working directly under the Prime. Now working close to the Autobot leader, Arcee was disgusted but unsurprised to discover he was a paranoid and self-centered dictator. Her outspoken streak came out as she began to question, then undermine, his orders, but the Prime dealt with her insubordination harshly and violently. Resentment festered within Arcee’s spark and she became obsessed with the idea of toppling the Prime and replacing him with someone more competent, i.e. herself.
At about this point, Arcee gained an admirer in the form of Cliffjumper, a warrior considered bloodthirsty and psychopathic even by Autobot standards. Arcee wasn’t too fond of him initially, but Cliffjumper was cheerful and overly talkative and, most importantly, actually seemed to care about her. Slowly, she began to warm up to him, but she didn’t actually begin to trust him until the day she failed a mission and the Prime’s punishment landed her in the medbay. Rather than mock her for her weakness, Cliffjumper seemed genuinely interested in her well-being, and Arcee decided that maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to have him as a partner.
Shortly after that, the war moved on from Cybertron to Earth, where the Decepticons and Autobots spent three years out of touch and building up resources. This unofficial ceasefire was halted by two events: Cliffjumper stumbling across a Decepticon mine and being killed under mysterious circumstances, and the return of Megatron from space, thus spurring Optimus Prime back onto chasing after the Decepticons. Arcee was more concerned about the former than the latter, but she was the only one of the Autobots who was particularly bothered by Cliffjumper’s death.
Despite the death of her beloved partner, things started to look up for Arcee when Optimus wound up in a coma after a battle with Megatron. Although Arcee wanted to “mercifully” kill him, Ratchet vetoed the idea and devoted himself to the Prime’s recovery. Arcee, meanwhile, devoted herself to running the Autobots and making stealthy attempts on the Prime’s life. This was all fine and dandy, up until the day Megatron came down with Cybonic plague and the Decepticons assumed the cure could only be found in Optimus’s mind. Through a series of implausible events involving a cortical psychic patch, Optimus Prime returned to the land of the living as a result, learned what Arcee had been up to during his absence, and responded in his usual fashion.
After a brief interlude wherein Arcee attempted to rescue Bulkhead from a group of terrorists and xenotechnology enthusiasts called M.E.C.H., only to discover that the ‘Cons had gotten to play Big Damn Heroes first, the Prime then decided to take Arcee on a field trip to a cave in the middle of nowhere, where he promptly threatened to kill her for her tedious, treacherous ways. They were interrupted by a cave-in and Arcee attempted to dig the Prime out, only to be waylaid by the Decepticons and one of their human companions, resulting in the Prime saving her aft instead.
After this Arcee felt much humbler and promised to stop trying to betray the rightful Prime. Unlike Optimus Prime, Arcee had high hopes this would turn out well, until the Autobots went on a mission and came across Airachnid and Starscream, the latter of whom had been webbed up during an argument. So that her desire for avenging Tailgate wouldn’t get in the way of the mission, the Prime made Arcee stand guard over Starscream. He tried to talk his way out of being a prisoner and the two of them got onto the subject of Airachnid, and Arcee found herself confessing that Airachnid had murdered her partner. Whereupon Starscream informed her that actually, he was the one who had killed Arcee’s partner… and since Arcee knew he hadn’t been there at Tailgate’s death, she realized he must be the one who killed Cliffjumper. Enraged, Arcee managed to goad Starscream into a fight, but unfortunately was overpowered and pinned to the ground. But much to her surprise, Starscream spared her life.
Fearing the wrath of the Prime and sick of both Autobots and Decepticons, she deserted the Autobots and spent the next few months trying to survive on her own. This proved to be a challenge- when she was near energon starvation she broke into one of the Autobots’ underground bases, only to run into Megatron of all people, calling himself Megatronus. She was attacked by her former allies and after escaping was forced to seek medical attention from the Decepticons, who threatened to report her to the Autobots until she provided them with enough intel.
Since stealing from the Autobots proved to be too potentially hazardous, Arcee tried joining up with M.E.C.H. in return for their help retrieving energon. She provided her best attempts at scientific consultation and tried to stop Breakdown from retrieving his t-cog from M.E.C.H., but when she failed in that M.E.C.H. opted to knock her out and steal her t-cog, leaving her not only without her altmode but without access to her weapons.
Despite now being unarmed and homeless and energon deprived, Arcee was later able to chase off Bulkhead when the Autobot bruiser had Starscream captured, mostly because she called in the “favor” he owed her, but also because she managed to intimidate and bluff her way through the encounter. She then let Starscream go, informing him that she considered them even after he’d spared her life earlier, but the next time they met he would be scrap metal.
Following that, Arcee was able to track down a crashed Autobot spaceship, the Pollux, which both sides avoided due to it being full of cybonic plague-infested corpses. Since Arcee had already had the cybonic plague and survived, she was able to live there and utilize the Pollux’s groundbridge in order to investigate what the Autobots were up to in the Antarctic. There, she was captured first by Wheeljack, then by Megatron. Megatron ordered her to lead him to the relic the Autobots had found, and offered to let her join the Decepticons. Arcee considered the idea, but rejected it when Wheeljack and Megatron got into a fight and she was able to capture the relic, an invincible suit of body armor called the Apex Armor, for herself. She then attacked Wheeljack and Megatron, but was defeated when Wheeljack blew up the ice around her feet and landed her in the ocean. However, nestled in the Apex Armor Arcee remained unharmed and began the long trek back to the Pollux.
And for those of you who roleplay against her in Freak Keeping, this is when I stuff a functioning t-cog into her and toss her into the dressing room.
